This site is sweet. They seem to project a sense of values--they even have a link to a statement about their values on their pages. Refreshing! They really want you to find somebody who not only shares your religion, and they assume that's important to you, but who shares has the temperament characteristics that are comfortable for you. Do you like a traditional, conservative type? Prefer an adventurous rebel? They let you choose these things, combined with the religious sect, even before you browse for free. Oh, and within a geographical radius of your zip code, too, if you'd like to. It's like when you go to a caring doctor who charges you very little because he knows you don't have insurance; you get the feeling that they got into this business for all the right reasons. To quote their own description, "Soulmatch was founded in 2004 to continue the primary mission of Beliefnet: helping people meet their spiritual needs. Perhaps no spiritual need is greater than our need for companionship, connection, and love." And non-judgmental, too; the major religions are covered, and so are some more obscure (at least today) ones like Paganism. Didn't see Wicca, but, no one site can cover everything. Those using the site have to agree to integrity standards, including that married people will look for friendship only. Ads are screened. I think our parents would approve. Oh, and they send you matches, too. So, if you're looking for a heartwarming site
where the focus is on finding a partner with whom to share your
spiritual side, your dreams, your charm, without any of the slickness or
sometimes embarrassingly overt sexuality of some other sites, you'll
want to click on Soulmatch
